i must admit when he first posted i thought it was a wind up, now that he has explained himself fully, why should we ban him ?
Because people dont like what he posts ?, or is it how he posts ?, after all English isnt his first language.

Now that he apparently isn't going to post any more this is a sterile debate, but I'm uncomfortable that he should be banned.

Yes, his posts were a bit pointless and largely uninteresting but nobody was obliged to post in response.

If folks are going to be banned because they post a lot or can't express themselves very well, most internet forums would be pretty empty.

The beauty of the internet (and one of the negatives) is the right to a certain amount of anonymity, why does somebody have to portray themselves on a virtual environment exactly as there real-life persona. Granted in the case of most boards it would make far more sense to actually be who you say you are.

As a new member (lurked for a while before joining) I don't see the point in banning him or anybody. If any posts or new threads are a nuisance or unwanted, simply don't reply and they will quickly disappear on their own. Replying to his (or anybodies) threads just adds fuel to the fire...
