Anyone going this year?

I go every year with a group of mates, wherever it may be and have a night out in the nearest city before or after.

Given that this year it is in Lytham, the night out points to Blackpool

However, as every hotel/B&B in Blackpool is

a) s t
b) full
c) hugely overpriced due to the event

I am looking for somewhere to camp! I don't mind paying for a hotel but am not paying over the odds for hotels that have 1 out of 10 on TripAdvisor!!!

Anyone on here know of any camp sites or similar near blackpool?

Surely a '1 out of 10' hotel is still 1,000,000,000 times better than camping

Jonny try ribby hall in wrea green its a bit like a smaller better version of centre parcs, I've got a static caravan there but they have lodges they rent for the weekend and motel rooms they rent out by the night. The motel rooms you have to ring for a price as they are not on the website. There is a hotel on site but it's a 5* spa hotel and quite expensive!! The static caravans on site are all privately owned and can't be rented out although there is one or two that do it unofficially.
