Now looking for the above. Was originally looking for the 3.6 TDV8, but at the moment can't find something that meets my spec within my budget (suppose I am asking too much for what I can afford). So will go for the cheaper 2.7 TDV6 for now and hopefully upgrade in a couple of years. Anyways, I would be using it mostly around town, and in the UK, you can't really go above 30mph in most cases

I would appreciate your assistance with regards to the following questions please:

1. Was there any mod/facelift etc during the years of production (05 -09) for the above model. If so what were the main changes?
2. Would I be able to take out a LR warranty on the car even if I bought it outside LR network (e.g. if I bought the RRS private)?
3. Cost of installing side steps (if I found a RRS I like but without one)?
4. The service intervals for this model (2.7 TDV6) and which are the main and expensive ones?
5. Any recommended independent garages (trusted and reasonable charges) within a reasonable distance of Chigwell, Essex.

I have a 58 plate and my sister has a 59 plate which is a face lift model, not sure what's different other than the rear light cluster

I believe you can although a LR dealer will probably have to do an inspection. If the car in question currently has a warranty they will probably renew without an inspection.

The dealer I bought my car from threw them in as part of the deal so not sure about the price. £700 ish supply and fit springs to mind though.

4. The service intervals for this model (2.7 TDV6) and which are the main and expensive ones?

Every 12 months. The big service is around the 105k miles where it's belt change time.

5. Any recommended independent garages (trusted and reasonable charges) within a reasonable distance of Chigwell, Essex.

I'm not from that area so can't comment.

If your car is for mostly town driving I think a V8 would be wasted anyway.

The 2009 had different rear lights (The amber turn signal was removed and was was clear). Also the lower tailgate trim was colour-coded with the rest of the car.

Not sure what else but would like to find out if anyone has any more info! LCFC. Receiver of threatening letters from Overfinch.
