Hi Toni,

Quote:

I would try (or get the dealer to try) and get the wheels 4 wheel aligned and balanced again. Get this done at a good place with a hunter hawk type machine. Also get them to swap the fronts and rears. This sorted my problem - though my shake was 50-70.

Hope that helps.

Hello Mr Pat,

They allready did it about a month ago. New tyres all around, front wheels replaced with new ones, some bushes and front suspension changed ( I will check the bill ). Most of the works were done under warranty but some not and it costed me £2700 inc VAT + £1100 the new tyres.

Big Cry

What I don't understand why is taking so long?

What RRS_PAT says, get it 4 wheel aligned, I guarantee it'll be out.
Check for a decent place near you (www.alignmycar.co.uk) Should cost around £60. Well worth doing to avoid bad wear on your tyres especially as they are new Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Ditto, not a great fan of YTS mechanics at Stratstone.

Someone put me in the right direction, please, please, please.

At this moment nothing I can do, I need to wait untill next Wednesday when I can get the car.

Hi Toni,

I had my dealer have a look at it and they didnt fix it (admittedly as part of a service extra item rather than specifically having hte car to look at that problem). I also had my tyres balanced and alignment done at a good well respected tyre place near me and that didn't fix it either Sad

It was only when I tried a different place that they did it right and it was sorted. Seems the set up on the RRS is extremely fussy. Like everything on these cars Rolling Eyes

I have the same love/hate relationship as you. It seems plagued with 'little niggles' that I spend a lot of time sorting out and everytime I get in I think something will go wrong which makes me hate it, but I still love driving it Cool

As for dealer in London try searching for LPR on this forum Whistle and see the good things people say about them....... 2011 Autobiography Santorini Black

Yes, I have a feeling that I will take the car back from Stratstone (God knows in what situation after 2 weeks) and bring it to Lookers Park Royal.
