Hi all,
I am searching for spare "park brake engine" (I don´t know the exact name).
Right now I am for 4 months driving without park brake.

Park brake motor is broken, local machanics in my village try to fix it, they put the engine out of the car, but they don´t find where the problem is.

Can you help me with searching spare part? My RRS is MY 2007, 4,2 supercharged.

The new part from official service dealers is worth over 540pounds, thats horrible.

Please help, here in czech rep. are no places where to find used spare part. Maybe in great britain you know better places, please help. I am quite helpless right now.

Is it the Parking Brake Actuator? If so Land Rover part only and I beleive they need to re program once fitted.
There is a new one on ebay for £400 I would stay away from trying to get hold of a second hand unit as they have too many problems with the new ones

Sorry I dont understand what is actuator, my dictionary also dont know it.

I am searching exactly for the engine. It is small black plastic box, inside this box is small electromagnetic engine (it look like engine for windscreen wipes), and some other electronic parts.

The problem is in that engine, it is functional when i want to brake the hand brake. but it is IMPOSSIBLE TO RELEASE the hand brake. Something is broken. RANGE ROVER, MORE THAN A CAR, LESS THAN A KITKAT
