THIEVES Just tried to steal again my spare wheel while I was reading through this forum.

This time they just walked around thinking for a way to get it. Luckily, my neighbour, the 76 year old lady shouted at them and they run away.

The car is safer outside because people can see it. There are garages around and some in the court I live but most of them get broken in by the thieves looking for construction tools.

I think this is going to happen all the time for the Olympic time. I wanted to relocate and kept looking to buy a house somewhere else but not too many people selling now.

TT - it's unbelievable what you are having to put up with. I do think Beany's idea of renting a secure lock up the best bet as you can't watch over the RRS 24/7. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

There's a reason why on test drive car dealers will get in then, pass the key to you rather than let you 'hop in' (assuming you don't know them of course).
It's the state of the world we live in, unfortunately, some people think that its acceptable to just take something that's not theirs. Until the penalties for crime are severe enough to deter it (and enforced), it will not go away

I think you're right, city suburbs probably do suffer more, and I guess the added attention around Stratford is good/bad depending on your viewpoint.

Personally, its a ball ache for me as the trains are always delayed through there because of deliveries to the Olympic Park...........and don't even get me started on what it'll be like come July/August  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
