My insurance company has suggested that I put my car into the Just Car Clinic, Northampton.

Has anyone ever used this place or heard anything about it???

Where would you like it to be done? Tell them that's where it's going - you don't have to use their repairer. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

+1 ^^^ Gone are the days the days insurance co can dictate the repairer. Get yourself a quote from your preferred repairer and they will just have to live with it. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

Thats the point - If Just Car Clinic are OK them as far as I'm concerned it may as well go to them.

I haven't needed to have a car repaired after an accident since the 1990's.

The 3 local Land Rover dealerships I contacted all informed me that they farm their work out to various bodyshops in the surrounding area.

I just wondered if anyone had heard anything good or bad.

Have had Auto Crash Repair recommended to me who are Land Rover Approved repairers and situated in Bedford.

I spoke to the owner who has invited me down tomorrow for a look around, and has offered to give me details of satisfied customers. So looks quite promising.

I've used ACR several times on various vehicles including my Sport and always been happy with the work they have done.

I would try Castle Coachworks of Northampton, I have had my Porsche 911, SL55 and RRS repaired by them and all I can say is I would never use anyone else again. Sounds like I've had lots of crashes but I have only ever once actually been inside the car when it was crashed into, none of them my fault, honest!

I was invited down to ACR on Saturday where I spent an hour being shown around the premises by the owner, Lawrence.

I came away with the impression that my car would be repaired to full LR spec and be returned as good as before the crash.
