3.6 TDV8 RRS or 3.6 TDV8 FFRR

Hi, Guys, could anyone kindly point out for me what is the difference between 3.6 TDV8 RRS or 3.6 TDV8 FFRR year from 2007 -2009? any aspects of compare are more than welcome.

The reason been we would like her to have a Range Rover for her daily journey to work. Her jorney to work is 6 miles return daily, I think RRS 3.6 TDV8 maybe better because RRS is smaller and thus will suit her better(she is small in size ). We didnt consider any petrol engine because my working place is 100+miles daily, I intended to buy a FFRR 4.4 TDV8 for myself for the commute, and drive her RRS 3.6 TDV8 once a week(or 2 weeks) to flash out/fully warm up run that RRS's engine.

So,
(1)in general what you guys think betweeen 3.6 TDV8 RRS or 3.6 TDV8 FFRR, is there any major difference? probabely more towards in the reliability point of view (we not really care too much about comfortable levels as she only drive very short distance daily),
(2)are they both have Brembo Braker ?
(3) Price wise?for the similar year, age, mileage, spec, how is the 3.6 TDV8 RRS compared to 3.6 FFRR?

someone may suggest Evoque, but she doesnt like it at all, she think its too small(I know, its weird when this comment come our from a women that is small enough for almost any car), I doubt that she will like D4 either. so the option is only between RRS OR FFRR.

Many thanks in advance.

High you will probably find that were a bit bias here Laughing

RRS just fits an a Tesco bay FF doesn't

both have Brembos ,both need a warranty for piece of mind

RRS is bit more nimble FF is better specced

RRS sounds a lot better Thumbs Up Kiel

We have had both FFRR and RRS TDV8 2008 and they are totaly different animal. From the driving experience, if looking at diesels would always choose a FFRR over RRS Thumbs Up

Many thanks guys, is "Active cornering enhancement" a standard feature on all 3.6 TDV8 RRS? That quite attractive as seems FFRR doesn't have that feature.

Not sure, must admit that cornering on the FFRR is an experience Wink
But the engine sounds different and more refined in the FFRR. All depends on your budget I would say...

On the price thing it depends on HSE, VOGUE, VOGUE SE but the are much of a muchness at the age you are looking at.

I find the FFRR to be a bit 'boxey' and it won't fit in my garage. The RRS does Thumbs Up

My advice would be, go down to your nearest dealer and test drive them back to back, it might be worth phoning the dealer beforehand and make sure they have both models in stock first Thumbs Up I don't know your location, but if you are anywhere near these guys http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic25314.html they will be more than happy to help (site sponsors) and are very well respected on here, even though they look like photo fits off crimewatch Laughing Thumbs Up
