So, When I get it, I'd like to have a local volunteer who I can do the updates on and take some photos for you all to see the wonders of technology

I know there are a couple of RRS in the village, one 06 HSE may be an ideal candidate, but if anyone on here lives close, it may be an opportunity. I would need the car for about 4 hours and needs to be local to me.

I think a lot of guys on here have HSE spec vehicles that have most items you mentioned as standard, however it may be worth posting what if any software updates are available for power train side of things, Gearbox, Engine, Suspension etc etc also what benefits the updates will give.  In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

Thanks SRE, there's a fair few that have Pre 2007 RRS so those are the ones that would benefit mostly from the updates.

Engine I'm not doing re-mapping, so that may not be of interest use, but can reset adaptive gearboxes and re-flash gearbox software if you strat to get 'fluttering' this sometimes helps to fix or at least improve it. Bodsys Brake Bible

Sorry - I am a bit confused - I just ordered a Faultmate and was told it could only read and clear codes and could not do any re-programming.

So the Fault mate being discussed in this thread is something different.

By the way my Aust speced 07MY already has most of the items being discussed here.

you've ordered the faultmate Fault Code Reader then? This is the Full Faultmate MSV2 system.

Yes, MY07 had most of the updates mentioned here (some still had the older BT module) the faultmate updates are mostly aimed at pre MY07 cars.  Bodsys Brake Bible

MY12 SE and HSE don't have the timed climate program as standard.
Once the software is available to do this, count me in, (before winter gets here please!)
Sure to be others wanting this doing too. RRS MY12 SE Siberian Silver, Ocean, Ivory and Walnut.

05 rrs 2.in Liverpool . Seems to have nav in move already, 4x4 info, off road info, I'd like clock on dash, indicator, lights indicator, trip computer info on nav screen (if pos) drivetrain update
