Hi can anyone help with the issue i have relating to opening the passenger door on a 2007 model sport. All other doors, windows etc. all work just passenger door stopped opening yesterday. Ive tried from inside the vehicle, key fobs, basically every idea i ave except removing the door cards.

It is a common problem, that will sort it self over time when left alone There are several posts

If you need to open the door, then you need to be inside and pull the lock tap and the handle while pressing the keyfob, then it will open.

Thanks for that ill leave the door cards alone then as was about to strip it down. Ill try and open it later using your method.

Tried opening the door with your method and works perfect, just seems to go back to not opening from the outside now and again. Have you any idea why it does this or is it just another strange land rover thing.

Common problem, you need a new door lock. Then the other door will go the same way soon,

Ok thanks for that, is that straight forward to change or are there any surprises changing them.

Never done one myself, passanger side more difficult than the drivers door, i just let the dealer do mine, approx £130-160.

My NSF door lock sounds like it has a similar problem. It appears to have started since I have set the car to single press opening for all doors, or is it just co-incidence! The fault though is intermittent, some times the door mechanism works, then not. I have now switched back to one door opening off the remote.

I have two problems, one, the door will not open, then, the rest of the doors do not lock, the horn sounds, the same way it does when you try and lock the car with a door open.

This is not consistent though. The small black lock button does not move all the time.

I have seen the LR post above, great detail, looks like a tricky, yet possible job, the question is, what part do I need? Is it a door lock? i have seen an actuator listed, is this the same thing?

How much harder is the Pass than the Driver door? Do i need to remove loads of stuff??
