After I had my last problem with my RRS a while ago, when i had HDC and suspension and check engine, etc lights come on the dashboard close to 6 months ago, it was resolved when i changed the battery

Now I have the same problem with alll warning lights coming on dashboard randomly, in addition to the gearbox not shifting up or down on automatic mode, only in steptronic if done manually

Anyone had this problem before? Please advise!

Check to see if you have a brake light bulb out, if not get the foot pedel brake light switch checked, both these two items throw up faults like you have described. If neither of them, then i don't know, sorry

Actually on the scanner somethimg about the brake light switch came on, does that affect all of thosevelectrical faults including the gearbox problem???

What aboUt the brake bulb? U mean simply if a bulb is burnt just change it?

Yes thats right. Did you get the letter F. on the dash board when this happened?

So many warning lights came on, lost track ;p

Gonna change the brake switch and see what happens after that, unfortunately since i cannot take my car to the dealership, i am working with a mechanic who tries to fix the car on a trial and error basis!

(dealership charges a fee of $5,000 to service the car since i didnt buy it from them and had it imported for the US)
