2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HSE Java Black
Exterior door trim removal

How do you go about removing the plastic exterior trim panels from the doors of a 2005 Range Rover Sport.

The one on my front passengar door is loose and I assume some of the clips are broken. Have some new clips but don't want to just pull it incase it is also held on with screws.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Gary

Spain

Slowly, take your time & make sure you have a bag of new clips on hand.
Read door trim has one screw as well as clips In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

Thanks for that.

Do you know if all of the trim clips are the same as the ones I have are spare after I fitted side steps?

Want to make sure I have the correct ones as I'm sure more will break taking them off and probably wont be able to get it back on again.

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography Santorini Black

Hi Gary,

Search on hear for +yellow and +clip or +popper to see some threads about it. One has pics Thumbs Up

If yours are loose it could be a number of things - possibly you have the wrong type of clips, or the plastic struts that hold the clips are broken - I managed to stick my broken struts back down with some duct tape that holds them in place but frankly the trim is a pain in the Censored

Also I found a good yank does it - and I haven't had any clips break on me. I do recommend you have some spare though just in case so you're prepared in case you need to replace some or they do break.

TBH I have never understood why they put the black plastic on as I don't really like it. The only reason I can think of is that they can be replaced easily if damaged off roading (which mine will probably never do Whistle )

Does anybody know why LandRover made the decision to put them on? 2011 Autobiography Santorini Black
