What paint did you use, I am going to do mine, can I use standard java black in a can from halfords and do I put a clear coat on it as well? |

Halfords own brand plastic primer, Java Black and lacquer. Got mixed pack of wet & dry, used 400 on plastic, then 800, primed and used 1200 between coats. 3 coats of each, 15 mins between each coat then overnight for between colour & lacquer . approx £22[/b] i can make the same stickers to go on before lacquer coat if you want |

I didn't like the V8 inside when I first saw it but then realised you could only see it when the bonnet opened and for some reason I really like it now - quite cool really |

I know, Im a hypocrite as I have a supercharged badge on the back of my TDV8 but the previous owner put it on and I don't want to scratch the paint taking it of. |
