I used to get a nice big bruise after just blasting away 100 or so clays (100 to 200 carts) but this got better as time went on

Only managed to squeeze in 3 sessions......apart from the sore shoulder it's going great, really enjoy it........

@Jonny Fresh Sorting out your gun mount will sort most of the ache. A recoil pad will still help on the occasions that you get the mount wrong though.

Yeah I've been reading that cartridges have a big impact............I will ask for some that will still smash clays, but go easy on the shoulder next time I buy a thousand.
