To be honest this has been going on for years, it used to be rife with performance cars back in the early 2000, only what they did back then is see a particular vehicle they wanted (usually the cars they delt in or had a lot of knowledge of) take along a few needed parts ie set of keys, ecu and ignition barrel to fit the keys they take with them, and with a bit of knowhow your car was gone, never to be seen again Pointless having a tracker because these guys know exactly where they are fitted to the cars they are stealing, many trackers have been found in fields by the roadside. The things these guys get up to is unbelievable |

Ady - Are you saying that trackers are generally installed in one location, my understanding was that they were not? |

No leeds, there are several locations where they are installed on a motor but the organised crooks who take these motors know where they are installed, its usually one of about 3 places on a vehicle and usually somewhere easy to access wiring. |

Good old streering lock, never go this keyless stuff seeing you still have to have a fob/key, for the 5 seconds it takes to slot it in the hole why bother ! |
