How do I get TV option in my 2006 SC

Hi all, I have a 2006 SC with rear dvd screens which are great for the kids on the long drive down South to the family. Sorry if this is a silly question, how do I get the TV option to select then for the kids to watch TV rather than DVD's, thanks in advance.

Have same issue myself, screens in back and no tv function! Asked question already, but it sounds very complicated and expensive unless your excellent with electronics! If your not, then it is possible, with the simplest solution getting a specialist to install.. but it will be money better spent to invest on a nice big 50" 3D TV for your games room!... you will even have change... cos it will be pricey!

do you have a TV tuner installed, early models didn't have the option - my MY05 don't have TV, but all the other entertainment in the rear !  RR Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange 4.2 V8 First edition

Prefer RR Vouge S/C but they don't do Orange !

TV tuner

Hi mate, no I dont think so. When I select on the screen panel I only get the norm, DVD etc but no TV

Well, thats the reason why you can't select TV . . . . you haven't got one ! lol  RR Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange 4.2 V8 First edition

Prefer RR Vouge S/C but they don't do Orange !

OK just checking. lol. Digital tuners can cost up to a grand !  RR Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange 4.2 V8 First edition

yeah, if you already had analogue then an upgrade can be bought on ebay from £150 (used)  RR Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange 4.2 V8 First edition

Prefer RR Vouge S/C but they don't do Orange !

I had a tuner put in my car a few years back.
I got the alpine tue 150 tv tuner plus the matching duel aerials.
You will then need this http://www.nav.tv/products/audio-visual-input-opv-2lr?car=133 ( can be found cheaper) there maybe other alternatives out there by now. But this will allow tv in the rear screens at the time I done the upgrade.

Fit all this in and you can have tv,digital radio,DVD,aux to all or anyone of your 3 screens.also on the tuner you have an extra input to fit something extra plus a reverse cam input.

Yes not cheap but a great upgrade. RRsport 2.7 tdv6 HSE
