Spain 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Galway Green
Insurance Companies/Brokers

I am just bringing 2 land rovers into the U.K. from Spain 1 is a RRS L/H drive and 1yr old,the other is a Year 2000 Discovery TD5 L/H drive.
DVLA put me onto BIBA to get a broker who would insure the vehicles, as first of all they have to be insured on their chassis numbers until you have completed all the paperwork.

BIBA put me onto Adrian Flux who told me they could insure the TD5, but could not insure the RRS,unless it would be over £1,200 pounds
I have maximum no claims bonus, clean licence,no previous convictions, home owner and the cars will be garaged and I am 64 yrs of age.

I also need to re insure my Corvette which is in SORN

Can anyone please help and point me in the direction of a decent company.

Thanks in advance.

It shouldn't be too much problem to ANY insurance company to insure on the chassis number, I did that years ago with a car I imported from holland, once the paperwork is completed you then advise them of the new reg number. With 3 cars to bring over then a specialist broker near where you are taking the cars to in the uk would be your best bet.
I use mackay corporate insurance up here in Scotland, and are very good for multi car policies
If you want any contact details let me know
Cheers
