south of france here we come

for the last 4 years we have driven to the south of france , usually in an ickle S2000, which is great fun. but this year we are taking the rrs, most off my mates think i am mad, should get 300miles a tank on the sc, any one know of any specialists or good dealers in the Monaco area, I fully expect the rrs to play up a bit at some point (usual LR querks) but would like to be prepaired for the worst,

Watch for the gendarmes on the toll roads. They'll zap you then get you at the next toll booth. Then promptly frogmarch (pardon the pun) you to the cash machine! Range Rover Sport HSE DYnamic SDV6 Velocity blue 2020 MY

Cheers ady
Bradders we have a gite booked for a week in vence as its only about 15 km in land. We are lucky enough to be going for just over 3 weeks. So two static weeks in two different gites, then a hotel tour week. we usually go down for the gp but going a bit earlier this year. so hull to zebrugge ferry this Friday. Should be able to bring back copious amount of red. Rather than just the one on the wife's knee as previous years.

So far never had an issue with the police, just motorway signs telling me to slow down.
Hopefully i won't have to stop at the tolls, i brushed up on the old French and ordered an aprr automatic toll pass. Just hop the first time i launch towards the toll it opens

My top tip for anyone driving through France which has worked for me is to cane it on the long uphills and slow down on the long downhills, all the fixed cameras are on the downhills,so you just need then to watch out for the Gendarmes with handhelds usually close to the ports. MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.
