Scotland 2012 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Fuji White
BMW X 5 V RRSHSE

Hello folks,
well i finally made the change to a rrs from a bmw x 5. i have to say im very pleased with my purchase up to now. One thing i have noticed the rr alloy wheels are a nightmare to clean.
I do miss my heads up display on the beamer. But I’m also impressed with the level of trim in the rrs hse.
has anyone purchased the roof rails for the sport. i see there is a company on landy world selling roof bar system for £200 quid. They look the part but do they fit as per the oem.
one other rant I also bought a road angel gem. This is a very poor product with numerous problems with the unit. I returned the first one as the screen just froze. Road angel sent me another cable. seems there is an inherent fault with the usb cables. When the unit is up and running it alarms on a regulars basis for laser. to a point it is a nuisance and have decided to switch it off. i have sent a mail to road angel to ask for an explanation. This is the third road angel i have purchased therefore i know there products. It seems the gem is not as good as it should be.
The alarm from the unit is distorted too. all in all I would not recommend this product.
I’m also looking for a cover for the rear boot as we have two Goldie retrievers. The honest chap at Strathstone says the rr one was not very good. Has anyone bought an aftermarket cover for the rear boot space?
Thanks
Brave

Welcome to the world of RRS! Thumbs Up

When you say rear cover, do you mean a mat for the boot floor rather than the sliding boot space cover? I use the LR rubber mat and supplement it with dog beds as required. It's a very sturdy bit of kit although it doesn't protect the carpet sides at all. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

beancounter,
Thanks for the reply.
The wheel cleaning information is handy too. I hope its a little while before i have to start using wheel cleaning products. my comment was relating to the small spaces in the 15 spoke alloys, nightmare to clean i note there are small brushes on the web page may invest in these.
thanks
Mr B

Mr B,
These are not the cheapest, but they are a worthwhile investment:

Large EZ Detail brush

Excellent small Vikan brush

Or, if you're feeling flush, these are a very worthwhile addition. Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
