It was actually the 23rd of march, so it is possible (just) to get an 06 plate on the lower tax rate. I'd also bear in mind that 2005 cars need a Cambelt this year (105k or 7 years) which is up to £850 at the dealer (although I just paid £599 at Stratstone) Good luck with the hunt! Hi Tim, Drop me some pics and info and the all important price to misteradam@msn.com please mate
Good shout about the cambelt, I hadn't thought of that. Defiantly worth me checking that its been done especially with the mileage of cars that I'm looking at, and if it's not been done then I can factor that into the price Current: 06 RR Sport HSE TDV6, Bonatti grey, black leather. Bit of an update, I took a 2005 RR Sport TDV6 out for a test drive yesterday and I was extremelly surprised at how well it drove. Having driven a TD6 Vogue in the past I didn't have high expectations for the Sport, but the sport was really nice to drive. Didn't feel roll through the corners, stopped well, wasn't quick by any means but didn't feel like I was holding people up like I felt when I drove the Vogue.
