United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Fuji White

Not currently using something like this, but with the increasing number of idiots Ive seen out on the roads, I am seriously thinking of investing in something similar.

Idealy Id like something that starts records automatically when the ignition is on.

There is also an increased number of "you hit me from behind" when actually you were reversed into offences, so I would think it would be interesting to have one of these fitted, not tell them, and then let the case go to court. RRS 3.0D HSE 11MY - Fuji White, a few extras.

These look a lot neater, and you can get full HD for £245. Or the 640x480 res for less.

Just researching if these can be wired to come on when the vehicle moves/starts - looks like their motion detector one could do - but then I dont know if it will stop when in slow/stationary traffic.

Worth there weight in gold.

My step brother took his porsche to be serviced and when he returned he downloaded the video, turns out 2 of the mechanics took it for a spin, well they ragged it silly as it happened, and we're slagging off the service manager at the same time.

You can imagine the meeting he had with the service manager and a laptop.

He got a wad of cash, and free service and warranty for 3 years. They really didn't want that footage being made public.

England 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

I bought one of these a few months ago:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VEHICLE-CAR-DVR-...0852920409
Mega cheap, doesn't do the GPS for that price obviously, but it does what it says on the tin.
First day of it being installed in my Lotus, some Jag driver decided to change lanes without any warning:

It should help any insurance claim should anything happen and also has a motion sensor so can record when it notices movement.

I'm planning on wiring it up just to the left of the rear view mirror in the RRS, but need to find a feed from the headlining as per this radar detector guide: http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/post179055.html#179055 RRS HSE TDV6 Autobiography
