Brembo's and wheel clearance quite close

Had Brembo front Calipers to mine on the weekend they look and feel great! The outside edge of the caliper is very close to the inside spoke of my 22" wheel, is this normal on these cars, anybody else's sit close? I know it's probably the norm and on the last car (09 gtr) the calipers sat the same very close I just wanted to clarify Java black 2006

Yes caliper does sit real close the wheel, with 19's and 22's.

Out of interest, how did you find the running costs of the Gtr?.

Cheers Scott have u got them on yors?

Running costs on Gtr were 50/50 mate it was good on fuel really for the engine ( mid to high ish 20's around doors and up too 40 on motorway) tax was the same bracket as the range rover but the poor thing was the service intervals ( every 6month regardless of mileage) they don't tell u that wen u but them in dealer and it was annoying cos sumtimes we only put 500 mile on the car from last service but they still expected it in that's the reason we got shot they took the mick, ru think of one? Java black 2006

Hi, yes I've got brembos on my car, they will be close to any wheel due to the size of the caliper, you don't appreciate how huge they are until you've got one in your hand.

Yes I fancy a Gtr, but like you wouldn't do many miles in it so the service intervals would put me off, the newer ones need one service per year I believe.

What was a service costing you?.

Cheers Scott yes they are massive aren't they! I've only got a couple millimetre clearance

That's much better if the newer Gtr's r one year intervals I would defo check up on that first b4 gettin one as they seemed to b very vague with info when we got ours back in 2009, I can't rememba the exact service costs as they varied at each service but it was something like 6month £300, 12 month £550, 18month £ £900, 24 month £ £1010 then back to the 6month figure again, great car if they didn't take mick with servicing tho we'd still hav it now Java black 2006
