I've seen many First Edition 2005 RRS with different front bumpers fitted (2010 / stormer look). Were they factory fitted or fitted later on. I can't find any tell tale paint marks to see if its aftermarket. Promotional photos show standard bumper but a lot of Vesuvious Orange ones look like they have the larger 2010 bumper. Any ideas? Plus, the dealer said that the front bonnet decals showing 'Orange Rover' were original, but I didn't believe him or care ! any comments on that ?

all first edition models were 4.2 V8 Supercharged petrol only (approx 500 - 50 in orange i'm told)

B3EEE, that is definately an HST front bumper 2005-2009 and not a 2010 model bumper, is your car an HST? if not then its been fitted and made to look like an HST by a previous keeper, either way, nice colour

Hi, no its not HST, just says Supercharged. But a hell of a lot of the First Editions have these bumpers and quite a few have normal ones, so not sure if fitted aftermarket or not. lol

There was never an HST in the 2005 First Editions.
In fact, I believe HST did not exist then!  Malaysia Boleh!

HST was launched 12 months after launch.

Yes, it's an HST bumper which has been painted in the centre.

Decals look OEM but clearly a 2nd set was bought to get the additional 'O' to place at the start of RANGE. Looks central to all the letters must have been replaced and recentred with the addition of an extra character.

Right, thanks, so far. So the bumper on mine is HST, which is not original and all the other First Editions with this bumper have also been an after market add-on. I just find it weird to understand that so many owners replaced the front bumper too !

The Orange Rover decals could easily have been done by the previous owners as I've never seen another with similar text. The dealer said it was to show it was one of the first 20 First Editions ! Pah !

Your car as delivered would have looked like the RRS in the forum header; and LR would never be so naff as to badge them "Orange Rover"  Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

Right. So the Orange Rover isn't original (knew that really) and the front bumper is an after market job. It's just really weird that loads of First Editions have the same bumper fitted.
