I will give them a phone sre, thanks, but my only concern would be the fact i live at the very north of scotland and not much about wer i stay so getting the remap removed in 2 mins for a service or if motor had to go to nearest garage wouldnt be as easy unless it was possible to do myself...

At the moment i use bmw which is nearly a 2 hour drive, its not that they might see it, as far as i can gather the rrsport is known to expesive problems, spoke to a owner last week and he actualy told me to stay cleer of them, the problem would be if motor i bought had an eventual problem surely the garage fixing it would look for any cause to invalidate a warranty, am going to phone pete bell as see what they advise....

I wouldn't worry about having a remap, the garages do not want to invalidate claims as that's their bread & butter. Re servicing I use Frank Ogg in Elgin, bit further than Inverness (I assume you use Calderton their) but have been excellent. Why are you using a BMW dealer? These are complicated and neurotic cars, with lots of little foibles all of their own.

BAS map and interface lets you controll what engine / ECU map you use, you can swop between the standard engine map and the modified engine map in a couple of minutes.
My sport lives in Spain, so the BAS system was ideal for me In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

If its an "S" spec then its the base model with not many toys unless they have been fitted as extras either way its over priced by quite a few grand, ask X5PEA for an up to date valuation Thumbs Up
