That gives it a decent approach angle. You know, so a 4x4 can, umm, go off road. Funny idea that... Rolling with laughter Thumbs Up

did they build the HST to not go off road then? RRS HSE TDV6 Autobiography

If the chin spoiler is close to the ground then it's going to limit where you can go without risking damage, won't it? Rolling Eyes 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Cheers Martin. I thought it might be Sad

I've been toying with the idea of converting the front end to a facelifted model. Buying brand new would be a bit of a silly thing to do on a 7 year old car, so I've priced up most parts second hand and it's becoming quite reasonable

1 x Bumper - plenty at sub £100
1 x Grill - with side vents ~£130
2 x Side vents - as above
2 x Front wings - annoyingly at £290 each new (not seen any second hand yet)
2 x Headlights - not seen too many prices - but approx £700 - 1000

Headlight wiring looms is something I've seen - I'm guessing I couldnt just plug the new style lights to my car without some sort of new loom?
Parking sensors? Apparently they're different?
I've got a bit more research to do, but I've got a very good bodyshop who can do it and said they could repair/repaint any second hand parts to look new

From what I've read, I know a few on here don't quite like the idea of facelifting an older RRS Ner Ner RRS HSE TDV6 Autobiography
