Speed camera detector

Going to start the university open day trawl soon (again Big Cry ) so i thought i'd better get myself a speed camera detector.

I'd appreciate any recommendations - so far the Inforad K2, Novus Piccolo and Pogo Alert get good mentions? Or is it worthwhile spending more?

Cheers, fellas. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

I find the Mark 1 Human Eyeball coupled with sensible speed choice tends to work nicely...done ok since 1997 (last speeding ticket) Thumbs Up

Of course, having said that I will no doubt get a ticket very soon... Big Cry

Perhaps I shall follow this thread just in case Whistle 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Bradders...I know where you'r coming from!

I was dragged all round the bloody country last year before my daughter finally decided to go to the Uni both Mrs Jim and I had suggested.

I now have to start the process again when I get on leave with my middle daughter. Still, at least we will be cruising in comfort Thumbs Up

Jim

If you have a smart phone, try this free app. at http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/. I've been using it for a year now & find it brilliant. The database is updated on a weekly basis.

Just a note of caution, if you travel to Spain etc, then Radar detectors are illegal, I am seriously trying to find a system that I can hard wire and is out of site. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

Do you think LR garage would hard wire one for me? Don't like unsightly cables trailing around....

Would be nice to have one hidden behind the grill or bumper with the sound that came through the ICE system. Basically invisible to the plod. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures

On 3 for 80mph already.

Got word Mum had had a fall (77) so on way to Glasgow, outside Perth, last week had ACC on at 77mph had a "weaver in front of me (no lane control) so foot down and moved around. Looked up and there was the white van with the big black rear window! Reckon I was about 90-95 D'oh!

Then at Stirling I did the same - double D'oh but I checked the speedo and it was 85mph.

Both on 70mph limits A9 and M9

So I think its original 3, a 6 and then a 3. BINGO in the front row 12 points lol Hoping 1 was a DVLA check - even better if both were as I heard Scottish Forces were doing a crack down last week.

TDV8 or 3L V6 thread? Definitive answer is........... V6 is just as easy getting from 77 to 95!!

Well this is day 7 and no notice - each day coming home and looking for mail is an experience haha Now - MY11 RRS Autobiography TDV6, Orkney gray, tints, steps, daylight running lamps and allllll the toys!!!
