Leaving

Much as I've enjoyed and learned much on this site my days here are numbered owing to a change of vehicle. Have already signed up for the FFRR site having ordered a Range Rover Westminster.

A lifelong ambition achieved at last, in spite of having really enjoyed the Sport but it does not have a 4.4L TDV8 under the bonnet.

Although I will become a member of the upper classes I will keep an eye out to see standards are being maintained in the lower ranks. Whistle

Would be interesting to hear your comparative thoughts on both vehicles once you driven it for a while. Good luck with the new motor mate. TDV8 HSE, Remap (+45 BHP + 100 Nm), Taylored sport exhaust system by Pipe Werx

I'm not expecting delivery until May, so give me a month or two after that and I'll let you know how I get on. Either the biggest mistake or the best vehicle I ever bought. Fuel consumption will be interesting as the quoted RRS combined is 32.1mpg and the FFRR is 30.1mpg. My RRS indicates 28.5mpg so far.

Why is it that once you place an order time immediately slows down? Big Cry

No I have not seen any LR marketing yet, but the LR web site made up my mind for me when I read what was included. As for the AB I am not interested in the fancy trim bits and multi-coloured leather, but I do love my toys and the Westminster gives me loads of them for less money than an AB.

To each his own I guess and I'm sure you will be delighted with the AB Jonathan. Thumbs Up

I just checked and an AB with the same options it would cost over £12,000 more. I thought I had pushed the boat out far enough as is, so guess I'll have to be contented being a 2nd class Range Rover owner. Embarassed
