A few issues with my new car

Hello all,

Took delivery of my first 4x4 last Friday (RRS HSE MY12) and I'm really pleased with it, love the high driving position, and the engine and gearbox are truly amazing, My last car was a Jaguar XK so it's a completly different car but I'm really enjoying it.

I do have a couple of issue which I expect the dealership will need to look at.

1. Rattle from the rear, I have managed to locate this and sort it out this afternoon after my wife offered to sit in the boot while I took it down the road. Turned out to be the carpet/board that covers the tool box. Took it out and adjusted the clips (moved them all the way forward) that are used to hold the board in place with a torq screwdriver. This made the board fit tight and the rattle is no more - result.

2. Steering wheel is very slightly off center, if I straighten the wheel the car moves left. Do you think the tracking could be out?

3. Car failed to start, opened door put foot on brake and pressed start button, all the normal lights came on but the car didn't even attempt to start it just shutdown again as if I had just switched it off. Tried 4 or 5 times same thing each time. Got out of the car locked it and opened it again and the car started first time.

No error messages shown.

Anyone else had similar?

Regards
Paul.

Andorra 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Fuji White

I had a couple issues with the car starting in the first couple weeks.. and nothing since(3 months)...also locked and unlocked car and I guess it acted as a reboot.... I think it may be something to do with the smart key... maybe not in range and system gets confused... does the same with mobile phones on bluetooth
I would give it a week or two use and see how it goes before taking it back to RR....

I have a couple rattles in the back.... I'll check the cover... although i'm not convinced my wife will sit in the boot no matter how much I beg her..... afraid I might think it suits her !! Laughing 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's

United Kingdom

No real issues for mine.

The first weekend the windows completely misted up.

The glovebox lid had a scratch on it which is being replaced.

It didn't like my Ipod or Memory stick until I cleared and reformatted both.

And the toolbox carpet/lid, how rubbish is the new one being just a loose piece of board! The old one was nicely hinged at the rear. 2016 RRS 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography Dynamic in Montalcino Red and Stealth Kit
