I think the 2 year is a "biggy" or at least a "B" vs the A that 1 and 3 years are? ============

And my TDV8 is booked in for 3rd service at 39700k. Local LR dealer offered 2 choices, basic oil and filter @ £249.00 or full service inc pollen, air and fuel filters @ £449.00. Another dealer just offered the latter at £480.00. What to do..but I'm thinking about the latter mainly for the fuel filter replacement. The cheaper service would still be logged in the service portfolio so prresumably preserving the warranty! |

It took me by surprise too. First time I have had the dual option of a basic or full service offered... |

The difference is one is a proper service, one is a basic service that just about ticks the box for warranty compliance and finally an oil and filter change which will not satisfy warranty requirements, from what I can see.

Just been quoted between £470 and £690!!! for two year service, my local dealer started at £540 but matched £470 without question. £499 is probably about right then , but pays to shop around
