I quite like it either colour tbh..

maybe it's the chrome handle and step plate on the rear that makes the lower tailgate strip not look "out of place" in silver

TBH it could almost be confused with a 2012 car with that colour scheme (to the less informed) RRS gone

I think all 2009 on cars had painted tailgate trims.
Guess leaving it unpainted shows that you are running around in an older model.

Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

I believe the 'correct' plate is the larger plate that sherlock has, I recall James @ LPR confirming the same thing not long ago, although i could be wrong.
