Either, alternator goosed especially if you have a TDV8, Alternator belt loose or snapped, battery goosed or loose battery terminal. |

Mine came on this morning after 3 miles (started fine and keeps starting fine)

My alternator (TDV8) lasted about 50 miles after the light come on permanently. Get it booked in now... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Alternator not charging at correct voltage new one now fitted & all is fine. |
