Hello to you all my first post .
Any ideas my horn sounds when i remote lock , on the dash it does say Drivers Door Open . Has anyone had this fault

It sounds to warn you that a door or tailgate isn't closed, if yours are all closed properly but you've got a light on the dash saying otherwise and the horn sounding you may have a fault somewhere.

Cheers scott7 , yes all doors closed thinking its the door lock /switch at fault . Going to spend sometime on it tomorrow all being fine and that

sometimes the upper tailgate sensor is sensitive, open and shut it firmly to see if that helps

Had exactly the same fault and had to change the door lock. Fixed now. TDV8 HSE, Remap (+45 BHP + 100 Nm), Taylored sport exhaust system by Pipe Werx
20" HST alloys, Privacy glass, Side steps, Xenon Adaptive Lighting, Adaptive cruise control

actually sorry just noticed you are talking 2005 so not wireless entry which is the problem I was talking about. Sounds like sherlock has the answer sorry  ============
