Newbie, should these items be supplied as standard?

Hi all,

I have recently purchased an HSE Sport and have just joined the forum. This is my first LR product after many years of Audi ownership and thus far I am very inpressed.

Question, I was not supplied with the required cable for connecting I-Pods etc. I contacted the salesman whom I purchased the RR from and he informed me that this cable is not standard issue?? also I had to pay for carpet mats.

As I mentioned I have purchased many Audi's over the years and these sort of items are aways supplied as standard.

Can anyone confirm if the salesman is correct in what he has told me.

Regards

Ric

Is your RRS 2011 or 2012 model year? If 2012 you use the standard Apple USB to iPod cable. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

MY10 was definitely a FOC option that needed ticking on the option boxes at time of ordering.

Maybe in the UK, in Germany it is still an option and you have to pay for it . For the musik interface 245 Euro, and additional 55 or 60 Euro for the kabel.

Thanks for the info Gents.

Email from salesman, saying the cable is in the post and sorry for the inconvenience.

So far Land Rover seem more customer orientated than Audi, long may it continue.
