Mine got fixed a few weeks ago on a 2008 TDV8 and the service manager said that as these RRS's are a heavy car they are prone to these bushes going on a 18-24 mth frequency. Whilst I found this hard to believe he cited the fact that many RRs are driven quicker than expected over such things as sleeping policemen. I can only assume that if you are driving over heavily rutted roads on a daily basis then it might take its toll.

Whilst not ideal. I am regarding it as standard wear and tear items. I suppose it goes with ownership of the RRS. still love them though.
