Should I colour code the door mouldings?

Gents

After looking at SREs great thread on his colour coding it made me think about colour coding the lower plastic mouldings on the doors. I have just had my grilles etc colour coded yesterday and got the bug now as I was so inpressed with the results.

SRE said the plastics needed a few coats of priming and rubbing down so as to get the same finish as the other panels but I am more concerned about stone chipping that may occurr seeing that the mouldings are close to the ground behind the front wheels and might be prone to it. I'm also thinking that they may be prone to chipping otherwise why would LR have left them as black bare plastic and not painted them like the rest of the car in the first place?

Any thoughts or has anyone else had them painted please? TDV8 HSE, Remap (+45 BHP + 100 Nm), Taylored sport exhaust system by Pipe Werx

The hardest part was sticking the "Range Rover" letters on the tailgate trim In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

Personally (and its always person choice) i dont like them colour coded...it might work on some colours but not for me.

Not to mention (which you touched on) the fact its more paint to stone chip - the plastic areas offer some protection from "stuff" - i also think it adds a nice delineation as well Mike
