I would rule out other problems first? the 20s are a great ride on mine, when I change to 19s I hate them (admittedly off road rubber)

I have now run both 19s and 20s on my 09 tdv8 with no issues whatsoever.

I can quite understand your situation. My TDV8 last year had 20" wheels with 40 profile Scorpions . The ride on pot holed roads was a bit dire, and coming from a D3 it was all the more apparent. But, but...changing to General Grabber UHP 275 x 45 tyres last November has made a huge improvement, really!! I would never return to 40 profle IMHO, and now the temperature outside has warmed up the D3 magic carpet ride is almost there. Personally, it has been the best improvement I could have made to the car!

Thanks guys & PBob I agree with your comments, am tempted to go down the General 275 45 r20 route as have had good experience of these on both previous RRS and old 110 I have. However, my local tyre supplier and LR main agent both tell me that changing the tyre profile could cause diff issues. I think I'll call LR on Monday and ask them.

Have either of them sid why? Can't see how tyre profile has any impact on a differential unless is lowers the ride height enough to drag them along the tarmac |
