DVD player in my RR sport 2006 mdl is not able to read the disc spinning in the DVD magazine. So the screen in the headrests have no signals. Want some advice to solve this.

OK, I'd try this.

1. A different DVD.
2. Disconnect the system and leave it for thirty seconds and reconnect.
3. Try a brand new DVD-R in the player and let it run for 5 minutes and then remove it, check the DVD for scratching and see whether the DVD player head is scratching the DVDs (if so you need a new player).
4. Does it do this for ALL six DVD slots - try 6 discs and see.
5. Buy a new DVD player on Ebay.
