Just spoke to James, they are having IT issues hence the site being down - has been down all week and they are not sure when it'll be fixed

Well Mr Beancounter.......after your words of wisdom I phoned my dealership and told them that I no longer required their gap or dent & scratch insurance.

10 minutes later I had a call back from them asking what my quotes had been. I told them and the dealership then matched them..........

I've decided to go with the dealership as they did do me a very good deal on the car. So, alls well that ends well!

My car arrived this afternoon and is starting its PDI tomorrow. I'm popping over tomorrow to have a quick look and take a few photo's. Ryan, the guy I purchased through, has made it clear that I can't actually drive off in the car until the 1st March. I can't see the problem myself?????

If they matched the costs then thats very good. Mine wouldn't match the quotes I had, but if they had, I would have gone with them too, I think thats the right decision to be honest.

Re driving off tomorrow, just stick a tell them you'll stick a 61 plate on for a couple of weeks until you can use the 12 plate, I'm sure they'll understand  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

I'm trying to sort out gap insurance. I've tried a couple which have been very reasonable but they won't cover modified cars. I've tried Frank Pickles who were £175 for a £50,000 limit which sounds very good as to what the dealer quoted, who else do you recommend for modified vehicles.

anyone recommend a GAP insurance cover?
