Yes i agree, at that price you would be foolish not to have it I'm sure Kams price was nearer the £240 mark when i origanally enquired, i will have to enquire again, many thanks beano |

^^^ I don't doubt that Ady, when I first looked, the quote was at that level, then when I finally got around to buying the policy it had dropped by about £50, apparently market forces acording to James at MHC. One of the few times that my laziness has saved me money

Well ive just tried their gap insurance link, but that doesn't work, so i thought that i would call them on the phone to get a quote and inform them that their gap insurance link doesn't work and low and behold there isn't anyone there to answer the phone either. and i am not talking to an answer phone never have and never will. |

My insurance covers me for "market value" so then that leaves that one open for argument between the two then i guess |

I must admit that I never usually take up any of the bolt on offers that car dealers try to get you to buy. However I have taken the Gap Insurance for a 3 year period. When you take into account that you loose 20% of the cars value (VAT) as soon as you drive away from the show room its a no brainer......

^^^ Agreed, just don't buy it via a dealer, independent companies (such as those linked above) offer a much better deal

Beancounter.......you are a man in the know........When I ordered my RRS I took out a policy covering scratch & dent insurance for £500 to cover a 3 year period.

If you can cancel with the dealer, I definitely would, seems daft to put £250 additional into their pocket for nothing.
