Warning lights come up on dash when i brake??please help

Hi guys i need some help please. I have a 55 reg RRS 4.4 Supercharged which has recently been at Hartwell Land Rover in Oxford who have given it a full service and not mentioned any issues apart from my handbrake shoes may be warn.

Anyway after a few days i took it out for a spin and when i put my foot on the brake all the dash lights come on, first transmission fault then hdc fault, then lowered the suspension and took away the special programmes??? now i have to say this never came up before i gave it to land rover and it does not affect the drive at all but it does mean i drive around with the lowered suspension and lights on the dash.

Someone told me to change my battrey and still same issue.....can anyone help please or do i have to take it to land rover to get bent over again?

UPDATE: JUST SEEN ON YOUTUBE SOMEONE WHO HAS THE SAME LIGHTS ON THE DASH WITH SAME ERRORS COMING UP ON THE DASH, USEING A HAWKEYE READER HIS FAULT WAS BRAKE SWITCH/SENSOR SIGNAL, HOW DO I CHANGE THIS SWITH??

Check the brake light bulbs before changing switches - a blown filament upsets the system.

Yes it is all connected with thinking that you are braking..check your bulbs first and then your brake light switch, good luck...

Hartwell in Oxford? They don't even have the excuse of a big shiny showroom to pay for. £800 is a ridiculous price for a service. They do charge at £100/hr plus parts though... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Hi Vava, did you get it sorted yet? I recently had the same problem. It was cured by fitting a new brake pedal switch. Cheers,
Tony. Thumbs Up
