Any suggestions on REAL winter tyres. A lot of tyres out there are just designed to filter water and slush, but I need some that will grip in a Norwegian winter (north of the polarcircle )

Do I really need to go to 18" wheels, or have anyone found good ones for 20"?

I run on Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow in 275/40/20. My experience is that the tyres are very good when snow is dry, traction is excellent. However, when the weather get milder and the now is more wet the car slides more and looses grip, same on ice. This might be more a size issue because 20" is too wide driving in winter condition anyhow. If I'd choose again I believe I'd go for 19" and possiby studded (legal in Norway). 2010 RRS TDV6 3,0, Bali Blue/Tan/Anigre/Dynamic Pack/Logic7/Keyless entry/Paddle
