I wondered if there are any Paris experts out there (Jimmy_7500 Whistle ) who could offer a little advice?

I'll be in France with the wife soon and was hoping to drop in to Paris for a couple of nights, however, we'll be avec RRS! We're looking for any recommendations for hotel/parking fairly close to the usual attractions. A mid-line hotel would be ideal (say up to €200 BnB double) but they key is parking safely and conveniently. We'll be cramming in a few touristy things therefore would like to be fairly central.

Any advice would be appreciated.

We are there from Thursday this week, taking the ferry from Dover, Paris then onto Disney for a couple of days. We've got a hotel booked in central Paris with parking. I'll check with Mrs O on the Paris hotel, all I know its 5 star Wink RR Sport TDV8 09 Santorini Black with all the trimmings

i went this time last year, hotel was down a side street near the arc de triomphe - ave. des champ elysees.
can't remember the name of the hotel.
parking was a nightmare, put the motor in an underground car park at first cost me about 12 euros for a couple of hours Confused then a space became free right outside the hotel so had to move quite sharpish to get the car, then left it there for the remainder of our stay and it didn't cost anything.
also driving was rather fun/scary?, i'd recommend a drive out to reims and have a tour around a champagne house Sophie Alltoft

+1 Thumbs Up for champagne region, many moons ago I spent a season picking grapes there, Reims is lovely, and has a great motor museum full of cars owned by some of the champagne owners, although I prefer the tours in Eperney, all the well known ones are there like moet, mercier etc

Driving in Paris is a hoot, you basically got to drive it like u stole it!

Just got back from Paris, freezing cold -8 during the day. did the tourist bit and saw the sights. Only downside, 13 euros for a 50 cl beer, not even a pint. The most ive ever paid for a beer!
