Tell me, who thinks the new silver strip on the back of the boot just covers up the gap from the old model??

It's lower down than where the window split was.
I actually quite like the silver strip on mine,.........mainly as it instantly differentiates it from a pre MY12 model  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

would like to see auto hold hand brake for traffic jams like the vw's do.
brighter lights for the doors,
auto rear courtesy lights,
be able to lock the car with engine running for the defrost,
some sort of warning and then shut down of engine if key fob not in car,
solar powered sunroof to power interior fans to keep inside cool on hot days,
and a great big DUMP valve for us V8 boys he he

Apart from a proper split tailgate like a Full Fat which I don't think will ever happen I'm happy with mine in general but if I was to buy a 3rd I would like a bit more performance and lower emissions so my tax is less. MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

I'm not keen on the silver strip ive already looked into getting the silver strip + the lower aluminium coloured section on the rear A/B bumper + the lower front aluminium coloured section on the front A/B bumper wrapped in gloss carbon fibre either that or colour coded.

Yep like the strip.... just wished it had been done in Matt Black ... looks too FL2 in chrome  2011 MY- RRS HSE - Zermatt -Ebony-Piano .... its a monochrome world

really like it on Fuji white .. it seems to blend better than on black... also picks up on the SS bumper treadplate... and SS steel ex tips 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's
