I suppose for that saving it depends whether

a) You can be bothered, and

b) How much value you place on not queuing for tickets.

I value point (b)! Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Ok so just been looking over on the Motor Show site and see there is more then one show going on on the day

To start of with there is

(A) Tues 25th July 2006 Doors open @ 9.30am - 9pm Not sure what the cost of a ticket is will find out

Groups of 10 or more receive a discount

(B) Motor Theatre.....

Stage right: Enter the Montagues
Stage left: Enter the Capulets

‘Dockside Story' a love story, by William Shakespeare…. Well kind of…

How about a theatrical circus of dramatic, unique and breath-taking stunts, performed by cars and choreographed to the story of Romeo and Juliet? But this not Shakespeare as we know it. This is an arena with four daily performances, providing all the rubber-burning and car action you can handle.

This unconventional story and battle of the bands will amaze and inspire each and every one of you. Places are limited so tickets are priced at £5.

Show Times

11.00 – 11.30

13.00 – 13.30

15.00 – 15.30

17.00 – 17.30

Don't know if anyone is up for this but had to ask

(C) SUGABABES at Excel London in London on TUE, 25/07/2006. Doors open at 20:00, show starts at 20:00

Cost of this is

http://www.seetickets.com/motorshow_rock/p...=motorshow

With the Sugababes show you do get entry to the Motor show between 4pm and 9pm RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

Some useful travel info for those driving to Excel : The building owners have decided to open up the vast cellars under the building as another carpark. Work is expected to be completed in time for the motorshow. The reason apparrently is that the cellars are very damp and have been flooded.By opening them up as underground carparks they can get better ventialtion! Sounds like it could be a bit windy down there after the work is completed.
There will be a special entrance to the exhibition halls for those using the new carparks too 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced

Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Nice work, Jay... Thumbs Up

Not bothered about the Sugababes show myself, but will come along if everyone else is going. That theatrical thing is meant to have been put together by the same people that do the MPH show, so if that's anything to go by it should be worth seeing. Count me in for everything that you decide on, given I won't be chipping in during the day for the time being... Mad
