ECU REMAP

Hi All,
My car was remapped about 3 three years ago, everythings were perfect till few months ago I blanked the EGRs and noticed that the engine need higher rev. and reduced fuel economy. The question is: Do I need the ECU remap again? OR else. Thanks. 2005 RRS TDV6 HSE Java Black

I thought this was normal when you removed the EGR valves?

I know but its not as normal. Also as far as I know that when remap, the software monitors everythings (air, gas, etc.) for top economy and speed. So when you blanked EGRs you actually alter the incoming air into the engine ie. the ECU should be rewritten. Correct??? 2005 RRS TDV6 HSE Java Black
