Hey guys,

Just got my RRS today and the cool box doesn't turn on - no light on the switch so going to call the deal in the morning.

However I have noticed when I put the heated seats on 2, after 10 - 15 mins it pops itself down to level 1 rather than 2, is this an in-built feature to stop the seat getting too warm or is the car faulty?

No worries!

When the front seat heater switch is operated, power is supplied to the heater elements in the seat, causing the seat to heat up. The ATC module senses seat temperature via the sensor in the cushion and regulates voltage to the seat heater elements to maintain a constant temperature.

Ah shame, had the heated in seats in the TT and you could just haver on max forever. Used to get very very toasty which was lovely!!!! RRS 3.8 TDV8 Stornoway Grey full colour coding.

Quite liked the 2 level version being auto temp. My MY11 stays on high until I fry or turn it down. Now - MY11 RRS Autobiography TDV6, Orkney gray, tints, steps, daylight running lamps and allllll the toys!!!

My other half had a TT and I remember when she got it she rang me one day from the side of the road to say the seats where on fire and she couldnt sit on them what should she do?.......uurrgghhh turn them down love
