Where to wash your car during winter?

As the name suggests... It is very cold outside, I washed my RRS 2-3 weeks ago outside and God Damn I nearly froze to death. Took it out for a ride twice and kept it at the car park rest of the time due to the rainy weather.

So where do you wash your RRS people? Vadim A.

Hmmm, mine was washed sometime in, um November, I think. No tell a lie, the LR dealer gave a quick jet wash after some warranty work about a month ago.

Nope, I don't do detailing either! Rolling with laughter 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I just jet wash it down with water and/or the soap sprayer at my local pay as you go jet wash, I take my wash mitt with me to wipe it over and rinse and using the filtered spotless rinse option

Or do it on my driveway as normal with a hat on

Drive for me too, with several buckets of hot water. It has to be very cold to stop me.

It's a real pain went the water freezes on the car before I've dried it all. Or when the hose pipe is frozen. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

Does that mean you do the whole car without rinsing the mitt? Sounds like a sure way to get swirls in the paint. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

I Rinse the mitts in the low power rinse jet Mr. Green or I have been know to takes my bucket (but got strange looks)

Not perfect, but better than using the brush which most people will use to wash their mucky wheel last then the next chap uses to wash their paint straight away Laughing

My car is not swirl free too, but after the dealer cleaning 3 times in the last 2 weeks I'm sure there USA few more Laughing
