Picking up my First RRS on Sat - Best place to get mods?

Hello guys,

First post as I have decided to stop folding myself into my Boxster and drive in some comfort now so picking up my 3.6 2008 on Sat as just getting the colour coding done now.

I am going to want to get the clear side repeaters changed straight away and also get some exhaust tips and saw both on pimpmyrange but saw the horror stories on here and just wondered where to get them now?

Also is there a thread on here for newbie information to get the most out of your new RRS?

Looking forward to joining "the club" on Sat. RRS 3.8 TDV8 Stornoway Grey full colour coding.

Hi welcome. For clear/smoked indicators i would just use ebay. Specific range rover exhaust tips are rediculous money wherever you look. I just got some universal tips i liked and cut the silly down swept standard ones and welded the new ones on.

Congratulations on owning a RRS.
Dave.

Cheers guys,

Had a look at DCC and am now like a kid with the argos catalogue at christmas, which prob isn't the best idea as I haven't even picked the car up yet haha.

Def going to change the repeaters up, what is the general consensus of people between the smoked and the clear for a Stornoway Grey?

Also going to change up the rear lights as well, clear or smoked on these do we reckon?

Last thing is I have black leather and am going to get it upgrade, anyone know a good place in Kent or Essex?

28 hours until I'm in the RRS club instead of looking like Donkey Kong in my Boxster s. RRS 3.8 TDV8 Stornoway Grey full colour coding.

Thumbs Up

Repeaters on a stornaway car I'd stick with Crystal Thumbs Up

Rear lights... 2009 de-tango'd ones or the new style LED ones Thumbs Up

Not sure about leather, you'll have to wait to hear from more local members... failing that martin from Kahn Design was offering a full re-trim in any colour for around the £1600 mark iirc RRS gone
