20"s or not ??????

Hey all, im thinking about putting on a set of 20" Stormer alloys, not going any bigger as ride quality will be rubbish and constantly dodging the potholes...... Ive got the standard 19's on just now and the ride is superb, have you noticed any sugnifficent changes when you changed your ????

Cheers Beefbops Thumbs Up

I've got some Stormers on e bay right now..with 23hrs to go! They've been bid to £590.00 so far, and I've also got a set of 20" supercharged alloys on also 23hrs to go.
I have to say that I've changed from 20" with 40 profile to 20" with 45 profile with Goodyear UHP tyres and the ride is better.

2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black

I used to change between 19s and 20s, the 19s were worse but that was because of the tread not the size (Grabber MTR for off road) ============
2010 TDV8 HSE - ooo laa laaaaaaaaa
2007 TDV8 HSE - superb car and very reliable

2012 - dearly departed, sadly missed.. to return in late 2013 with a new TDV8!

I prefer my 19s to my 20s. That's in terms of ride, looks and "kerbing" risk.

In fact I'm thinking of selling my 20s and buying a second set of 19s for summer use... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I went from 19's strait to 22's and comfort has barely changed. It goes round corners better to.

Yeah!! I just don't get it when people say it destroys the ride when you run 22's. I really genuinely cant tell the difference. Only draw back is you Censored yourself when parallel parking lol.

My brand new 22's came a week last fri, with brand new tyres. Put em strait on, gave it a clean and went strait in to give the wife a lecture on how carefull she has to be when parking, how she now cannot!! At all, bump up kerbs and to be very carefull. After her calling me sad, she replied, i don't care, i just wont drive it anymore!! And she was happy with her little clio she uses for work. Gret i thought!!

Since then i have kerbed it twice myself with her sittin in the passanger seat. Luckilly the kerbs was low and it didn't touch the alloys but you should've seen the smug look on my wifes face. Embarassed
