Dash like a Xmas tree with warning lights

Driving home then and all warning lights came on, transmission fault and also handbrake warning came on. Car now slowed right down, won't change gear and comes up suspension lowered. Pulled over and turned off and restarted. Drove fine with no lights then started again half a mile down the road.... Any ideas??????

No brake light out, surely that wouldn't bring up transmission fault and handbrake fault would it????

ISTR this can be due to faulty brake pedal switch. Not techie but lots of this sort of event D3side.

Same issue

Same thing happened to my RRS. Right after a service. Have booked in for a review. Did the 3 x lock and unlock reset.

Shall update as mine is under warranty.

Hi. Same fault to mine. It was the brake pedal switch.

Disappointing

Thanks Pex18,

I can't get an appointment here in Melbourne until the 30th March 2012 to get it diagnosed. Very Very annoyed. And now I can't get rear parking sensors to work!
